Stay away from it. You’ll lose a finger. You cannot even spell MACHINE.

There are night schools that have machine shop courses but they do charge a fee. If you know nothing about using a lathe, then you should enroll yourself into one of those schools. If you don’t and you just try using a lathe without any training, you will hurt yourself BADLY.
A lathe is a complicated and expensive piece of machinery and it is not something that can be explained to you in a forum like this one.
