    steel and aluminium is not that bad(didnt say u should do it though)… but stainless is really mean… i always use some clamp to tear it away

    Yes a 3 or 4 jaw chuck, but it needs to have a 5c collet fitting or placed into a 5c collet which could compromise some repeatability

    the die holder is keyed so that it can move back and forth but not rotate. Since the part is rotating, it automatically threads itself on to or off of the part.

    CAN you please for the love of hands not remove the swarf like that very very dangerous i dont care if its a 6 inch lathe or 36 they can slice a figer clear off or pull your hand in. GREAT machinist bad safty

    did the tap just pull it self on once you got it started, what are the chances of the tap just screwing up ?

    Not bad then! Never saw one of these workin so I was rather schocked to see how fast you can finish a part!

    I can typically repeat within +/- .001 with this machine. They can work to closer tolerances, but you have to tune the gibbs and spindle bearings so that it’s operating at maxumum proformance.
