Thats very good mate! I tried to make something like this and i ended up electrocuting myself so i stick to hand turning now. I would really like to see what rods you have done.

Thanks for the kind words. Comparing it to professional models I have used it has some disadvantages – you have to up the driver drill to a 240v version to get sufficient speed for sculpting grips when building a new rod.
But it also has some real advantages including much better speed control, more stable blank security in both the rollers and the driving mandrel.
