the invader zim Doom Song on a cd engraved by a homemade record lathe

this is the recorder I was talking about in my other video. it is a homemade record lathe, meaning I can make vinyl records, and cd’s so they will play on a record player. this video demonstrates a recording with the engraver. I chose to record the Doom Song from invader zim because it is from one of my Fav Shows Ever!!!!!

If you record it at 78 rpm it will sound better. Also I had made one of these with my acoustic gramophone. But I bought a Wilcox-Gay Recordett from the 30’s which are made to make records. However if I am correct, the way you are making the recording is by indenting the sound. Where regular records have a side to side cut. In other words try holding the speaker up and down.

ill try to find another good little speaker and make a tutorial If I Can.
its one of those things you arnt going to get on a first try. I went through a stack of cd’s higher than 12 inches to get it right. lol thats alot of experimenting
