HQ800 Harbor Freight 3in1 Mill Lathe CNC Mach 3 Conversion. First attempt at a video. This 3 in 1 came from Wholesale Tool but is the same as the Harbor Freight unit. X & Y are Gecko driven servos, Z is Gecko driven stepper (which replaced 2nd burnt out Z servo motor!)

Maybe $500 plus junk box parts, such as the big servo motor that I already had.

Great Job I just bought a new one for $1100 w 20% coupon. How much did your conversion parts cost?

It works pretty well. When milling I often have to raise the work especially when using collets. The cross slide screw I replaced with a ballscrew. It would not replace a Bridgeport but good for general purpose use.
