This video is of my little lathe being used to complete a compound turning operation. In this video I am making a beveled taper to a custom tool that I am working on.

sweet machine … wish they still made mini lathes like that instead of the cheaply made Chinese junk we have to choose from today.

Thanks Tim, it’s not a bad little lathe, but if you are looking… I would keep an eye out for a 9″ Southbend lathe, or something in that size. These 109’s seem to bring more than they are really worth, and the Southbend is a much better lathe.

That’s a nice little lathe there. I’m impressed that it’s in such good running order at its age! I’m looking for a 6″ Craftsman myself.
