A new Chinese made lathe, geared head,13 inch swing x 30 between centres. Reassembled from new by me in the UK. Mostly well made components, but dreadful assembly in China of headstock and apron internals in particular. Rust, casting sand and swarf, it was all in there and its not the only new one found like this. So beware if your thinking of buying and lift the headstock cover first. HQ800 Harbor Freight 3in1 Mill Lathe CNC Mach 3 Conversion. First attempt at a video. This 3 in 1 came from Wholesale Tool but is the same as the Harbor Freight unit. X & Y are Gecko driven servos, Z is Gecko driven stepper (which replaced 2nd burnt out Z servo motor!)
