I just bought this Atlas 10″ TH42 lathe. It had so much old oil or grease crud that you could hardly move the carriage.. I took it apart, cleaned it and oiled it up and now all the parts move freely. I dont know anything about lathes …yet! I’ll probably use this more for wood.
